FurBuy Taking Off!

     All of the sudden today, I go to check on FurBuy and... DAYUM! 28 live auctions! It's like a whole bunch of people just got motivated in the same 24-hour time period and voila - tons of new auctions on FurBuy. I'm really thrilled because the site hasn't seen this much activity in... Well, years, honestly. And it's motivated me to get a lot of work done on it lately. I fixed some of the old category issues (I think Commissions might need to be moved up under Artwork as well, but we'll see) and sorted the category drop-down list in the New Auction page... And have made some miscellaneous improvements here and there. Today I added the beginning of the FurAffinity linkages, allowing new and existing users both to set their FA username. This weekend I intend to do a bit of work to actually put the link to users' FA pages in their User Information page and in the tagline that appears after their name in auction detail pages and the like. I'm also working with the folks at FA about getting linkages on their side setup, and it's going well - I created an XML utility for them to get auction listings for users with FurBuy accounts and they will be adding a "FurBuy Username" field to their profile shortly to support that.
     Thanks to everyone who's posted auctions lately, and I hope that you enjoy the system and keep coming back! To anyone else who has considered posting auctions, now is a great time since eyeballs are zooming to the site and checking it out.
